Prof. Suraiya Begum

Prof. Suraiya Begum is the Chairman of School Management Committee of Southeast Bank Green School. She did her Masters in Home Economics from University of Dhaka followed by Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Mymensingh Teachers’ Training College. To further her academic pursuit, she completed a Diploma in Food Science & Nutrition from Wageningen University, Netherlands. Her career started as a Lecturer in Teachers’ Training College, Mymensingh. During her career she was the vice-principal of Jagannath University,subsequently Prof. Suraiya Begum held the position of Principal in Home Economics College in 2001. In the final leg of her illustrious career she served as Member of the Public Service Commission (PSC) for a period of 5 years (2007-2012).
