Prof. Dr. Firoza Sultana

Prof. Dr. Feroza Sultana, Life member of Nutrition Society of Bangladesh, Ex-Senate member of DU, a member of ‘Poribesh Bachao’ organization, obtained her Ph.D. from Moharaja Soyajee Rao University, Baroda, Gujrat, India. However, passing S.S.C. and H.S.C., she obtained her both Graduation and Post-graduation from DU. Serving mostly in education sector, she retired from her active service life in December 2017 while she was serving as Principal in Dhaka Home Economics College. She attended various seminars, workshop and training program, organized both around the globe. She has got a great role in the areas of research and publication, to study the consciousness of family to maintain/save the environmental balance, to study the health problems of people living in slum area in Dhaka; to study the impact of advertising on consumer demand; Home Management and Family life, appropriate technology for better living; are some of her many contribution.
